The training is grounded in extensive knowledge of music therapy, the light and sound therapy of Werbeck-Svärdström and Prof. Hermann Pfrogner, elements by Maria Führmann and a number of other anthroposophical singers or researchers. The entirely new healing method of anthropofonetics has emerged from a metamorphic process involving the spiritual science perspective of the spine by Alfred Baur, physical movement influenced by eurythmy, curative eurythmy and an understanding of rhythmic massage. The forms used in the therapy are also studied in depth.
Unlike the chirophonetic method, the sounds in anthropofonetics are sung. In chirophonetics, the sounds are always spoken and the forms of the sounds stroked onto the patient's body, mainly their back, in anthropofonetics, the person applying the therapy sings to the forms of the music intervals. The treatment can be carried out on a patient who is in a lying or seated position. In both cases, a well-trained voice is required.
The main teacher of the "School of Uncovering the Voice", Wolfgang Strübing (as mentioned by Jürgen Schriefer) has given the task to the founder to develop further the singing school of Werbeck-Svärdström. This was fulfilled in 2006 with the foundation of the “School of Purifying the Voice”.
Likewise Eurythmy is been trained in its basic gestures (vocals and consonants) and in planetary and zodiac gestures. Eurythmy then approaches the human being in the movement, performed on the back and the body.
The course is based on a broad knowledge of music therapy, the light and tone therapy of Werbeck-Svärdström, Prof. Hermann Pfrogner, elements of Maria Führmann and a number of other anthroposophical singers or researchers.
In addition to the musical aspect, there is intensive training in the medical background as established by Dr. Rudolf Steiner alongside Dr. Ita Wegmann and advanced by their students.
